Vaccination Matters

Updated: Feb 5, 2020

There as so many contagious and deadly diseases out there that can easily be prevented by routine vaccination.

This year there has been another Parvo / "Katgriep" outbreak in Pretoria. This deadly virus causes vomiting and diarrhea, especially in young un-vaccinated puppies. We vaccinate at 6 weeks, 9 weeks and again on 12 weeks of age...It's only after the third vaccination that we fine that dogs have better immunity against the Parvo virus. You keep up good immunity your dog should be vaccinated every year.

Apart from Parvo we also vaccinate against Rabies. Again another deadly virus that causes deaths yearly, both animals and in humans.

Contact us anytime if you are not sure about your pets vaccination status.
